A Tale of 3 Beers and The Wolf of Snow Hollow

Busy work days call for some much needed relaxing during the weekends! So for this week of #BeerSaturday, I like to invite @iamraincrystal to write a post about beer with min. 3 pics in any language. Even tho she was the one who kept pestering me to join this challenge Here's me giving it a try featuring some local craft beers that caught my eye while scrolling past online ads:
Hope those "wicked" caps mean I'm up for a fun time
Engkanto, a local word meaning an entity of supernatural origin, fortunately had a "Discovery Pack" available from the online booze shop I ordered from, which showcased the 5 flavors they were offering.
And I don't know about Crazy Carabao, but I also bought a couple of its Variety Packs just 'cuz 3 cases of beer is better than one! So is this post about me telling the difference in taste between all these bottles? Hell no! But this is about killing time when you've been faced with a goddamn, yawn-inducing movie:

Here we got Officer John Marshall, a recovering alcoholic, in a small Utah town that is seemingly terrorized by a werewolf. What made this movie tolerable to watch, despite the plot being overly cliché, was 'cuz of all the snow set in the film. Cold + Beer (with a side of cheezy nachos) = just about perfect.

Cue my first bottle of the night, Pale Ale, not too bitter, light on the tastebuds. Just about as pale as the first kill at the start of the movie.
My second bottle was a swig of Crazy Carabao's Pilsner just as the plot escalated with a second murder on sight. Plain and nothing too original to taste, I'm talking about the beer.

Not much of a lead in the case...
So is this truly the case of a werewolf on the loose? Curious but not too invested yet as I go for the Double Ipa, which turns out to be made of a lot stronger stuff, just as a double murder takes place..
...But not enough to make me tipsy as the movie starts to pick up pace and we near the ending. Was it climactic? I actually felt confused when they started throwing clues on the suspect's identity, 'cuz it just came out of nowhere! Was the ending even satisfying? Well, yeah kinda..? If you discount how we got to that conclusion that was like dumped on us.

If you're looking for a not-so-brainer weekend movie just to chill to, give The Wolf of Snow Hollow a chance. Overall a great nightcap, but I guess that's the beer talking...
