Daydreams on the Moon

Waking up on our second day in Coron with this view is definitely a dream:

Our 6th day Palawan adventure itinerary consists of our afternoon town tour back at the main island, now before that, we spend our early half of the morning having breakfast still at our private resort with Paolyn Houseboats, which after I took to kayaking in our own lagoon while mom @iamraincrystal got a bit more shut eye:

Then the time came close to our check-out time where last night's restobar also held the reception area:

Upon arrival, we were dropped off at our original accommodation that came with our initial tour with Trippy. We had a couple hours to request a meal from the reception just as a form of lunch before we were to be picked up by our town tour agenda around 3:30PM:

Turns out that signage of Coron was just across our accommodation by the port which was easily walkable but it was the first stop on our afternoon itinerary, with some mix of a couple souvenir shops where one was selling their local delicacies of all things cashews - from the usual roasted nuts to lil tarts and even cashew butter like a play to peanut butter (although personally prefer the latter flavor... (,; ⩌ ;,)). We also made a quick stop at the local town church before heading to what I considered the highlight of this afternoon:

Mt. Tapyas Viewdeck as seen even from the waters nearing the mainland of Coron boasts the sign of the town's namesake. It also just so happens to have at least 721 steps (or so our guide told us), for obvious mobility reasons, my mom opted out but I'm always up for these sort of challenges when on vacation so here I am:

Sweating at this point, I fortunately managed to buy a bottle of refreshing Gatorade on the way down from some rest stops. Coincidentally, the last stop in our itinerary was just perfect to sooth some aching muscles:

As a nightcap on our way back, we asked our tour van to drop us off near this dinner place I was curious about after I kept seeing some of their tarpaulins in town, turns out this place called Gateway was also just a block's walk away from our accommodation!

They have cats! And a dog...

And look at this kittengarten!!!

Mangoes here in Palawan be hella sweet for this salad!

Meal set for 2 was pretty worth it!

Honestly ended the night very much satisfied! Our vacation is nearing to a close but we still have a day's worth of adventure left in our island hopping in Coron! Until the next post! xoxo
