Hidden Garden Cafe: Your Private Corner in the Heart of the Metropolis
It's been 2 years since I've last travelled anywhere outside of the city, mostly because of the travel restrictions that were imposed once the pandemic started and never ended, but now that it has somehow become lenient enough (like the calm before the storm), I've finally decided to sit back and enjoy some cityscapes, wherein I finally got to visit this hidden cafe:
I initially remembered this part of the city to be a no-go as a child and up till my college years, but lo and behold our soon-to-be outgoing city mayor included this 'once parking lot dump' into one of his many beautification projects:
So we now have a clear view of the Postal Office right beyond that big fountain and a usable underpass at the end of this hidden garden situated between two overpasses, complete with its very own Hidden Garden Cafe!
The menu was a bit limited when it comes to food-- they could try more sandwiches (grilled cheese & chips on the side?) --as I could make a better tasting carbonara than theirs, though thumbs up for the yummy strawberry muffin!

All in all, I consider this place a safe hangout, despite solo-eating al fresco style, since there are security personnel rounding about. Making the overall ambiance of the place relaxing, like having a private corner in the heart of the Metro.
